The Aurora

The mist that mixed with the light upon the sky
Clear sky in mystic blue... where has my heart gone to?
I could usually appreciate their beauty of them all every detail and every thing. Though, now I can only wonder. Where am I? What am I? The consitency of my mind is breaking. My heart is now trying to control everything.

I wasn't like this... I shouldn't be like this.. yet... I am.

Background and Origin

Two decades ago, a certain corite named Axelia that wanted to make amends from her misdeeds and wishes to live a longer life for she has fallen in-love with a Bellato. Dammed for what Axelia has become, bearing a child within her as the father was not from her own kind. The moment that the child was born, Axelia could not bare the threat of her race. She was forced to leave her by the steps of Sette Highlands near the Bellato Portal or perish from by the hands of her fellow race.

The child was taken by the high mystic of the Bellato Federation the moment she saw the Corite begging for help. In the hopes that the child's fate will not be revealed but only a few will remember, this gave her the name Neoma Reiko.

Neoma raised as a noble one under the influence of her mother. Naomi Reiko - a mystic living outside Novus. On Neoma's fourteenth year, her mother asked her to go forth to the academy and seek out her true being. Along her journey, she was lost in Sette Desert as she came across other races who wanted to kill her. She ran inside the ruins when she saw a lady driver sitting at the corner. Upon meeting, the lady driver knew already what was going on and quickly took over the situation as Neoma hid behind the Massive Assault Unit that stood closely. The other races saw the driver and didn't intend to continue their pursuit. It was a quick resolution as the lady driver introduced herself as Aeloria Freay. From the last name Neoma recognized as one of her relative they are distant cousins. From then on, Aeloria cared for her and introduced her to the HolyOrder guild.

A few years later, her mother informed that she was only adopted. There is no blood relation between Aeloria. This made her somewhat detached. She may be an easy-going type but she takes responsibility and do what is the right thing to do. This does not make her a saint, since she's only a regular soldier in the Federation after all. But she makes a trustworthy person and she is loyal to her comrades and/or team mates if they would do the same. Loyal to the Federation, although, there is a distinction between loyalty and being 'fanatic'. She prefer her own company or that of close friends and family. She is wise and knows how to treasure the reliable in her life. She knows that popularity can be a false element. Not that big on taking risks and prefer what is already there. That is because she doesn't like surprises, they can turn out bad and then she won't be in control.

Training at Numerous

My first day on training at Numerous Stockade. Sir Beleron was kind enough to be my trainer at the corite's area called Numerous Stockade. It was hard for me, I couldn't pass the test and while waiting for my chance a male corite sat next to me. He was kind of cute although, I just couldn't understand what he is saying. I guess it will never turn out good in the long run if I ever decide to date anyone outside my race.

On the side matter, my publication is going down. There's no writers who wants to submit anything. A poem? a lyric? a ballad? a sonnet? (heh) Anything?!

A Nightmare

In darkness of the night
A driving desire runs through me
A parching thirst that will never be quenched
Just as the dawn peaks through,
Your blood is the one I seek;
you are my prey
And in the daylight hours, consuming my every thought
Your face is in my mind, until I fall asleep at night
Then the cycle begins, all over again...

I had a dream... a dream so horrifying that I can't erase from my thoughts. I've been bothered with a lot of thoughts and now my subconsious mind is making me see things. I had a dream that the enemies will get to me and will turn me into one of them. This is what I fear most. What do I have to do to get this out of my mind?

Dreaming a Reality

Ever since I left, my schedule’s all wrecked. Neuchi’s training was postponed. He needs some booties and I’m the only one who’s capable of collecting booties faster. I ran towards the portal to the outpost for my hunting when all of a sudden someone called out to me with a sad tone.

“Neoma,” I looked to see who it was and it’s the HolyOrder scribe, LadyBouleville. “Why are you in MISTAH?” she continued as I stopped running.

“I gave my resignation to the HolyOrder office,” I sighed and didn’t want to say anything else instead, “You can read my reason from there.”

“You’re already here,” LadyBouleville tried to make me talk. “Can’t you tell it to me now?”

“It’s something personal, Lady,” I looked away trying not to notice her sad face. “I have to leave. I have my reasons. It’s not the guild, although, my reason’s somewhat connected to it.”

“I don’t understand.”

“I’m sorry, Lady. I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to leave, though, I had to,” I grit my teeth and squinted my eyes then my heart pounded heavily as I walked through the portal leaving her. It pains me to see a fellow member sadden because of my action.

Running around inside the Chink Cave, I remembered my routine of needing to check some reports as I tried to access the HolyOrder’s Chamber files when all of a sudden it said: A-C-C-E-S-S D-E-N-I-E-D.

I smirked and wanted to slap myself. So they finally revoked me from my duty as Chamber, gawd, I'm such a fool. I'm already in MISTAH now. Idiot! I took a deep breath and said quietly while placing my data pad in my pocket, “there’s no turning back now, eh?”

*beep*beep* My data pad started beeping continuously. What the-?!

Neoma-neesan, I'll miss you. I won't have a twin sister in the guild anymore. - Kohaku [HO]
Neoma, please come back. We miss you. - Kochi [HO]Keeper
Is it because of me? I promise I'll behave this time – Jefrox [HO]
After reading all the messages, I didn't feel like collecting some booties for Neuchi. So, I used my mini-porter back to HQ.

*beep*beep* Not again?
So, I heard that you left HolyOrder. I may not know what the reason is but I hope you'd find a better place. - Iroqouis [CRW]
I laughed at myself and started talking to myself, I'm the journalist of the Tattler and now I'm the big news without even revealing anything. But then I guess, it seems pretty obvious. HolyOrder is one of the most respected guild here in Novus.

I sent a thank you message to Iroqouis and head back to my quarters to get some rest.

The new begining

How does the new uniform feels?” Liquid said through my receiver as I look at myself through the mirror adjusting my new badge in light yellow and green as underneath it spelled M.I.S.T.A.H. I tilted my head slightly to the right and thought, (hmm) not bad at all.

“I’m still adjusting to it, Sir,” I responded after a few seconds of thought. Liquid acknowledged with a slight happy tone as he tried to make me feel comfortable within the guild. "Since, I'm just new here. It not the same from my old one."

“Well, don’t you look fine in that outfit, Ms. Neoma,” Liquid stated as he appeared behind me.

“Oh, why... thank you, sir,” Neoma blushed and greeted him quickly.

“I just dropped by to see how you are going,” Liquid smiled and looked outside the window. “If you want anything you can just ask me or anyone in the guild. I’m sure they’d be happy to assist you.”

“Oh thanks, I will,”
Neoma finally finished fitting her uniform as she took off. “And uhm, I’ll be out at the mines for the day, sir.”

[Crag Mind Field] Sector: N5
*kzzt* “Neoma, what are you doing in Crag?” Beleron said as he patched through the guild receiver.
“I’m guarding a questor, Sir.” I diligently patrolled the area trying to look out for enemies the might linger.
*kzzt* “Neoma, what is your current location?” Ashtaron asked directly through my private line.
“Crag mine in Sector: N5, lieutenant,” I answered briefly when a ranger corite suddenly appeared.
“Run!” I shouted at the questor although it was too late when the corite released fire with his gun bow. In reaction, I tried to hold the corite down although he was as strong as I was when all of a sudden a fire ball came from behind me targeting the enemy. The corite scattered and ran away. “Damn him.” I said trying to keep calm.

Don’t worry, I’m here now. A familiar soft voice was heard from behind as I look to see who it was, “Asakust!” I gave a smile seeing an old friend who is from the HolyOrder guild. We talked for a while. It was a long and hard conversation. The longest one I had with her when I quickly held my weapon as a sound of running footstep became louder.

“Aww. I’m too late,” a man with the same badge of the Mistah came rushing in. “JeanLuc sent me to assist.”

“Ashtaron! So that’s why you ask for my location.” I smiled upon to see a fellow soldier.

“Listen. Asakust, just reconsider Liquid’s offer, ayt?” I uttered trying to convince Asakust to join me. “Although, I’m not forcing you to leave...just feel what is right for you and you alone.”

My leaving the HolyOrder guild has created a huge chain reaction to the Chambers and members. Secessions and blaming of whose responsibility was it to maintain the reputation of the guild.

*beep*beep*

Whatever the reason of your leaving, fix it fast and get your arse back in here, missy. – Shiv

“How could I fix something that is already been broken?” I sighed and turned off my datapad after looking at Shiv’s message.

A friend in need is a Friend in deed

"So the rumors are true," he said the moment he saw me at the tool shop inside Solus Settlement.

"Oh! Hello there, Genmaru," I looked at him with a blank face. "What rumors would that be?"

"Or rather, the news is true," he corrected himself. "Liquid sent me a massage through my private radio receiver, saying that you left your guild. I couldn’t believe it. It seems so unlikely of you to do such a thing."

"Ah, yes... I did just a few hours ago. Liquid and Kahlil saw the whole thing,"
I said with a firm voice.

"How did they know?" Genmaru seek for an answer as he sat right next to me. "And why though? Ah! Nevermind..."

"It was after the war,"
I said feeling that I need to explain myself. "I was at the storage area in HQ when Asakust was pulling my leg begging me not to leave. And the Mistah where there celebrating."

"Ah the breaker."

"Yes, I'm glad that the Mistah got the last hit and delivered the chip on time. Anyway, I've already made up my mind on leaving. It may just be a temporary leave, I don't know..."

"Temporary?" he emphasized with a boggling thought. "Is there something wrong with the guild?"

"No, nothing’s really wrong with the guild,"
I said thinking of how to explain my situation. "It's more of a personal reason why I left and also a wake up call to the founders who went to the..."

"Neoma..," Genmaru interrupted me in the middle of my story. "I worry about you though. Will you be alright by yourself?"

"I’ll be ok," I said smiling. "I can always talk to you and the others with my receiver-transmitter. And you could always send me note on my data-pad."

"Look at these crowd," Genmaru pointed at the other Bellatos that are standing in front of the tool shop. "It's as if they are listening to us."

"Well, I know a place where we can have a quiet talk," I stood up as I tried to invite Genmaru to take a walk with me. "Let's go to my spot where I usually need to think."

"Hehe, so much for me and JeanLuc's plan: Neoma Abduction," Genmaru tried to lighten up the subject. "But there’s no point to it now."

"Abduction?!" I tried to laugh from that ridicule. "How's that to be no point?"

"well, you're no longer in the guild,"
Genmaru explained

"True," I said. *beep*beep* A sound from my data-pad suddenly alerted me that there’s a message.

"Well, now how would you like be in our guest in Mistah?" – Liquid

"That must be Liquid," Genmaru as he stood up as I looked at him. "I'll be on my way, if you need anything, Neoma. I’m just a receiver away."

I couldn't explain very well why I left the guild but after having a long conversation with Genmaru... it made me felt that it was not the right decision but the best decision. My depression is less from what I felt early on.

I wonder who's the winner going to be?

The contest is coming to an end and from the entries I don't know who's going to win. My hopes is that is the accretian or the corite ever wins, they won't try to kill me. I am going out of my way from my busy scheduled trainings just for the contest of the Tattler.

I was thinking the accretian Eisenstahl is going to win but Liquid's entry is actually honorable and sweet.

I wonder who is Gen standing on behalf for... o_o?

Haha.. the judges are going to have a hard time deciding now.
